They charged for hot tea per person even though it the same teabags and same pot. Just an extra small cup. Otherwise, service is good, variety is good and their sushi and sashimi bars are good. Variety of fruits and cakes. Lots of ice cream choices.

My family and I have been coming to Chow Time regularly—about every couple of weeks—and there’s a reason we keep coming back. For a buffet, they consistently do a great job. The selection is huge, with plenty of options for just about everyone, and the food is constantly being refilled, so everything tastes fresh instead of sitting out for long periods. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, hibachi, sushi, salads, soups, desserts, or traditional favorites, there’s always something to enjoy. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is comfortable whether you’re having dinner with family or meeting up with friends. One thing I really appreciate is the consistency. We’ve eaten here many times over the years, and it’s one of those places we can count on for a good meal without wondering if it’ll be hit or miss. If you’re looking for a buffet with a great variety of fresh food, fair prices, and a comfortable atmosphere, I definitely recommend giving Chow Time a try. We’ll definitely continue coming back.

We are a family of 5. This buffet allows everyone to eat exactly what they want. The food always taste nice and fresh and the flavors are usually pretty constant. They do have a selection of sushi but it's not the widest variety. There is also a raw bar were you can choose meats / sides and take them over to ne cooked to your liking for no additional charge. The waiter staff is usual amazing! They stay on top of clearing your food or bringing you drinks. The greeting staff in the front are not very welcoming at all. On multiple occasions they have been can of cold and unwelcoming. It's actually quite strange because the temperature totally changes once you get past the front. Maybe the staff in the front are the owners and there kids or something idk. They give off very entitled. Anyway what's the only reason some areas are fours. They also don't have crab or a station that slices fresh meats on the spot. Other than that great choice for the money.

I come here often, and I usually leave a normal tip even if the server does not talk much, as long as the basic service is provided — water, clearing plates, and checking on the table when needed. This is the first time I am not leaving a tip. The reason is simple: I asked for water, but I never received it. The server saw me but did not speak to me, did not check on me, did not bring water, and basically provided no service at all. I had almost finished my meal and still did not see anyone helping my table. In the end, because I could not find my server, I had to walk to the front desk myself and ask to pay. The front desk then had to find the server to bring me the bill.

Chow Time Buffet on Commercial in Fort Lauderdale is super duper delicious. Fresh sushi, salad bar, wonderful and popular Asian dishes. Fast, friendly service. There's nothing like it anywhere. Definitely 5 ⭐'s. 💯
